FAQ's

Why Permanent Makeup?

Convenince!

If you lead an active lifestyle and don't have time to reapply makeup throughout your many activities...

If you are unable to consistently apply your makeup on a daily basis...

If you are tired of penciling in those brows every day...

If you just want to look good 24 hours a day...

Permanent Makeup is for you. It makes life easier.

What Will It Look Like?

Permanent makeup can be applied so subtly that only you will ever know, or bolder, depending on your personal preference.  During your appointment we will discuss your desired look and how it can be best achieved to compliment your individual coloring and features.

What Can I Expect During My First Appointment?

Initial treatments can take one to 1 1/2 hours to complete.  This includes paperwork, discussion of your preferences, anesthetic application and treatment.  Follow-up appointments are usually performed in under an hour.

What Can I Expect After My Appointment?

The healing process takes four days.  There will be mild discomfort and swelling for 24-48 hours which is easily relieved with ice packs or over-the-counter pain relievers.  You will be given a packet of ointment to treat the area for four days. No makeup on, or cleansing of, the treated area, although you can wash the rest of your face and your hair.  The color will be darker during the healing process and there will be a light scab layer over the treated area that will flake off during the last two days.  You will be given a list of aftercare instructions that must be followed to insure optimum results.

Do I Have A Choice Of Colors?

There are a wide variety of colors offered for each procedure.  If you have a favorite color, please bring it to your appointment to be matched.  During your follow-up appointment color adjustments can be made if you change your mind.

Is It Safe?

Sterile and fully disposable "single use only" cartridges are used for your safety and peace of mind.  They are made specifically for the face and disposed of after use.  All pigments are specifically selected for permanent makeup procedures and have been used safely for many years.

Does It Hurt?

Most people find the procedure quite relaxing once we get started. A topical anesthetic is applied prior to starting your procedure to numb the skin. An additional anesthetic is applied throughout your procedure to keep you comfortable.
